Irritability & Anger

Anger is a normal emotion. It becomes a problem when it feels out of control, damages relationships, or leaves you feeling guilty and drained. Often irritability is a sign of something underneath: stress, hurt, exhaustion or feeling unheard.

What this might look like for you

  • Snapping instantly at people over incredibly tiny inconveniences.
  • Walking around with a constant, simmering undercurrent of frustration.
  • Road rage, or getting fiercely furious at inanimate objects.
  • Immediately regretting your sharp reactions after blowing up.

Anger is usually just a bodyguard for deeper pain or unmet needs. We will gently ask the bodyguard to step aside to see what is really hurting.

How therapy can help

  • Recognise your triggers and the early warning signs
  • Learn ways to cool down before reacting
  • Express what you need clearly, without the explosion

Sessions are 50 minutes on Google Meet, ₹1,500 each or ₹5,100 for a package of 4. Your first 20-minute intro is free.

Common questions

Will therapy try to stop me feeling angry?

No. The aim is not to get rid of anger, which can be a useful signal, but to help you understand it and respond in ways you feel good about.

Can irritability be a sign of something else?

Yes. Ongoing irritability can be linked to stress, burnout, low mood, poor sleep or hormonal changes. Your therapist will help you look at the bigger picture.
