Postpartum Concerns
Becoming a parent changes everything, and it is not always the joyful time people expect. Postpartum low mood, anxiety, intrusive thoughts or feeling disconnected are common and treatable, and they are not your fault.
What this might look like for you
- Feeling deeply overwhelmed instead of joyful after giving birth.
- Struggling to bond with your baby or feeling guilty about it.
- Intense mood swings, tearfulness, or sudden feelings of hopelessness.
- A heavy sense of losing your own identity entirely.
Postpartum struggles are very common and highly treatable. You don't have to carry this completely alone.
How therapy can help
- A safe space to talk about the parts no one mentions
- Manage anxiety, low mood and the exhaustion of early parenthood
- Adjust to your new identity and relationships
